E-Funds & Funding Lunch Accounts
We are asking that all outstanding lunch balances be paid promptly to support our programs' finances. Funding lunch accounts can be paid through e~Funds:
Here are a few helpful hints to get started:
You will need your child's lunch/student ID number to make a payment.
You can still make payments at the main office during registration days, or at any lunch room cashier but setting up an account and paying in advance will save time and give you an opportunity to see a breakdown of your fees in advance.

How to Check your Student lunch account transactions
You can still make payments directly to a Food Service Cashier at any school cafeteria with cash or check, but setting up an account and paying in advance will save time and give you an opportunity to see a breakdown of your lunch activity in advance. I would like to encourage parents and caregivers to have conversations with your student/s regarding you and your families lunch and a la carte participation. As a school requirement we can not deny a student taking a hot lunch, note that any hot lunch taken by your student/s will be charged to their account.
Aspen Supplemental Program
The Aspen School District Nutrition Services Department is a district funded program not part of the State or Federal lunch programs.
FREE & REDUCED BREAKFAST & LUNCH
We know that many families rely on schools for meals. We encourage families to submit a Free & Reduced Meal application, which provides families with access to additional benefits as well. Please know that even if you qualified in previous years, an application must be submitted every school year. APPLICATIONS ARE DUE BY OCTOBER 1st with proof of income. To access the application and instructions for English and Spanish click the following link (https://app.droplet.io/form/Nwdd2K)
More information can be found here.
Lunch Accounts & Negative -$20 rule on a la carte Items
Our school food program is committed to ensuring every child stays nourished, so no student is ever denied a hot lunch meal; the cost of the lunch will be deducted from their lunch account. Please note that if your lunch account balance reaches a negative $20 or more, you will not be able to charge any extra a-la-carte items until that balance is paid down, though you may still continue to charge standard lunches.
I would like to encourage parents and caregivers to have conversations with your student/s regarding you and your families lunch and a la carte participation. As a school requirement we can not deny a student taking a hot lunch, please note that any hot lunch taken by your student/s will be charged to their account.

Volunteer Lunch Server Opportunities
Join the Lunchtime Crew! Volunteer to Serve Smiles (and Lunch!) at School đ Make a Big Difference in Just One Hour.
Looking for an easy, fun way to get involved in your childâs school day? Weâre looking for parent and guardian volunteers to lend a hand during cafeteria lunch shifts!
Serving school lunch is one of the best ways to get a real glimpse into your child's world, meet their classmates, and support our fantastic school staff. Plus, nothing brightens a kid's day quite like seeing a familiar face behind the serving counter!
What Does a Lunch Volunteer Do?
No culinary degree required! Shifts are quick, upbeat, and easy to fit into a busy day. As a volunteer, youâll help:
Serve meals: Help hand out warm entrees, sides, and milk to students.
Keep things moving: Assist kids with opening milk cartons, condiment packets, or tray balancing.
Spread good vibes: Offer encouragement, high-fives, and a warm smile to keep the cafeteria bright and friendly.
Shift Details & Time Commitment
When: Weekdays during student lunch hours (flexible scheduling available!)
Time Commitment: Approx. 45 to 60 minutes per shift
Frequency: Sign up for once a week, twice a month, or whenever your schedule allowsâevery bit helps!
How to Sign Up
Ready to jump in? Weâd love to have you on the team!
Sign Up Online: Pick a day and time slot that works best for you on our volunteer calendar.
Complete Quick Check-In: Volunteers just need a quick badge check at the main office before heading to the cafeteria.
Have Fun! Show up, pop on an apron, and get ready to serve!
Thank you for helping us create a warm, supportive, and well-fed environment for all our students!
