Student Fees
Now is a great time to log into your Parent Portal and review your student’s account and outstanding fees.
Outstanding balances may include fees from Hopkins High School as well as prior schools attended in the district. We encourage families to review and pay their outstanding balances in the Campus Parent Portal account.

Important Attendance Reminders
To help ensure a smooth and timely dismissal process, attendance requests should be submitted by 10:00 a.m. on the day of the request. Whenever possible, we encourage families to schedule appointments and vacations outside of school hours to maximize instructional time.
If a student becomes ill or injured during the school day and needs to leave early, we are happy to support that process through the Health Office. Students who are already at school must be checked out by the school nurse to ensure their safety and proper documentation.
For student safety, attendance-related phone calls must come from a phone number listed in the student’s contact information. If your contact details change, please update them promptly through the Parent Portal in Infinite Campus or by contacting the counseling office.
Attendance requests are reviewed in accordance with our attendance procedures and require a stated, valid reason. If you have unique or extenuating circumstances affecting your student’s attendance, we encourage you to reach out to your student’s counselor so we can work together to provide support.

HHS Garden Club Needs Volunteers!
This summer, even a little bit of your time can make a big difference!
The Gardening Club at Hopkins High School is seeking volunteers to help take care of the garden while school is out. Whether you live nearby, are planning to visit campus, or just want to spend some time outdoors doing something meaningful, we would love to have your support.
After facing some challenges, the garden needs extra care, especially when it comes to watering the plants to keep them healthy and thriving. You’ll even earn community service credit for your efforts! Plus, you don’t have to commit to a full summer schedule, any time you can spare will be a huge help. Join us in supporting this student-led project that adds beauty and life to our school community.
Together, we can make the garden flourish!

Global and Well-Traveled
Trip to Ecuador June 2027!
If you haven't already heard, your students have an incredible opportunity next summer, June 7th-16th, 2027 to travel to Ecuador for a 10 day service learning expedition. Students will stay in the heart of the rainforest, where they will support a local Amazonian community by helping build schools or greenhouses while also taking cooking classes, language classes, dance classes and more by locals! They will get to visit a local coffee farm and trek deeper into the Amazon rainforest to sleep overnight in a hammock under the canopy of trees. Don't let them miss out on this life-defining opportunity.
You can learn more about the itinerary, what is included, and how to enroll on our webpage (click here).

Construction Set to Begin on Hopkins High School Multi-Sport Dome
We're excited to share that construction on a multi-sport dome at the high school is set to kick off on June 10, 2026. This project is the first major construction made possible by our 2025 bond referendum and can move forward on an earlier timeline because work won't disrupt the school day and the project required a shorter design process than other school additions and renovations.
To accommodate construction, the north side of the North Middle School parking lot (the Hopkins High School staff parking lot) will be temporarily closed.
We look forward to welcoming families to the grand opening in late fall 2026. Learn more about the other Phase I construction projects here.
