🍂 October is bringing more than just a change of season to Spring ISD! 🏗️ From campus renovations to new facilities, progress is happening across the district as we continue delivering on the commitments made through the 2022 Bond. Take a look at what’s new this month! 👀

Thanks to your support in passing the $850 million bond, Spring ISD is making meaningful, districtwide improvements that strengthen student learning, enhance safety, and build for the future. We’re excited to keep you informed every step of the way.

In each issue, you’ll receive the latest updates on projects designed to support student success, including safety enhancements, technology improvements, essential building renovations, roofing projects, upgrades to facilities, and the construction of two new state-of-the-art buildings—including the new Spring High School and our Education Performance and Instruction Center (EPIC).

🏗️Laying the Groundwork for Greatness at the New Spring High School

Setting the Standard, a Classroom in the Making

Construction at the new Spring High School is moving along splendidly as we have been given a sneak-peak of the Mock-Up classroom. With a fresh coat of paint and the ceiling grid installed, this is only the beginning of what’s to come. In fact, this classroom will be the model for all the classrooms throughout the building. We are looking forward to seeing what comes next!

This Foundation is a Homerun!

Moving along to the world of sports, the stone base for the softball and baseball fields has been placed, making this an important milestone in the field’s progress. With the foundation set, crews are another step closer to being completed. It won’t be long before players are stepping up to the plate and striking out the competition.

A Front-Row Seat to the Finish Line

Things are starting to pick up speed at track and field. The concourse for the bleachers is being erected, which means fans are one step closer to packing the seats to cheer for their favorite athletes. With everything taking shape, this area will soon be ready to host several competitions and victories for the home team.

🎭 EPIC Changes Coming into Focus

EPIC Progress in the Works

As construction continues at the Education and Performance Instruction Center (EPIC) making epic progress. From rooftop HVAC systems and roofing installation to exterior walls and eye-catching architectural details, EPIC is starting to come into full view. With every passing day, this state-of-the art facility will soon be ready for its closeup in the spotlight where districtwide events and student performances will take centerstage!

🚌 Reynolds Elementary Has You Covered

Covering New Ground at Reynolds Elementary

What a difference a couple of weeks makes! That’s right, in just two short weeks, the covered walkways and canopies at Reynolds Elementary School are really starting to come together. Once they’re completed, they will make arrival and dismissal smoother and safer for everyone.

With metal supports and overhead coverings rising along the front of the campus, designated sheltered areas for bus and car riders are coming to life, giving students, families, and staff a little added protection from the elements, rain or shine.
