Panther Weekly
May 8, 2026
Congrats to our April Proud Panthers who showed courage!
This month, we are incredibly proud to recognize our April Proud Panthers, who have truly embodied the character trait of courage.
Courage isn't always about grand gestures. More often, it’s found in the quiet moments of everyday life, like standing up for a peer, trying a challenging new skill, or having the bravery to admit a mistake and learn from it. These students have consistently shown the heart to face their fears and the strength to do what is right, even when it isn’t easy. Their resilience and bold spirits serve as an inspiration to our entire school community.
Please join us in congratulating these young leaders for showing us all what it means to be a Panther with heart!
A "Glow-ing" review of the PTC dance
On behalf of the students and families, we wanted to send a massive thank you to PTC for hosting such an electric evening! It’s safe to say the energy was absolutely radiant. The glow robot was a huge hit and something our students will remember. We know how much work happens in the dark to make an event like this shine. From the neon decor to the seamless organization, your dedication was the spark that made the night so bright. Thank you for giving our community a chance to let loose and glow crazy!
Author Jacob Grant will visit with kindergarten, first, and second-grade students
Author Jacob Grant will be visiting with kindergarten, first-grade, and second-grade Park View students on May 19.
Families have the option to purchase an autographed copy of his book "Turtle Slept In", through the order form linked here. The form must be printed and returned to school with your student. Please ask your child to give the form to Miss Mau in the LMC. Forms will be sent home with kindergarten, first-grade, and second-grade students, but any family may purchase.
Help us turn these items from 'lost' to 'found'!
Looking for a Bulls sweatshirt? Missing a minions shirt? Can't find a coat? Our school's lost-and-found is overflowing with items that have been separated from their owner!
Please encourage your student to look through the tables in our main hallway so we can have many happy reunions before the end of the school year.
Remind your students: no eating on the bus
The district’s bus company has reached out with concerns about an increasing amount of food being eaten or left on the bus. Students should not be eating on the bus. Eating food on the bus is a choking and allergy hazard. Additionally, a significant amount of food is being thrown on the floor of the bus rather than being taken home for nutrition. Please have a conversation with your child about his reminder.
