Goooooooooood Evening Marlow Families!!!

We hope everyone had a great weekend, and man, was it awesome to see so much color throughout the building today!! (Check out our Instagram page for photos!!)

We are officially one week into the new year and it has been great to see our students settle back into routines so quickly. Classrooms have been full of engagement, strong effort, and a renewed focus on learning after the break.

As we move forward, our teachers will continue reinforcing expectations while diving deeper into new content. This balance of structure and challenge helps set students up for continued success as we head into the heart of the winter months.

Beginning this week, we are excited to introduce a new section in our Marlow Monday Message titled Community News. This space will be used to share non-school related events, celebrations, and opportunities that connect and support our Marlow school community and the Mills River community we live in. We look forward to highlighting the many positive things happening in and around our community and encourage families to stay tuned each week.

Thank you for your continued support at home—ensuring students arrive rested, ready, and excited to learn truly makes a difference. Another strong week at Marlow is underway!!

All the best -

John

This week and moving forward, our Marlow community is coming together to support Oliver, a Marlow kindergarten student who is bravely battling leukemia. This week, all students and staff will receive an “All In for Ollie” bracelet, and we encourage everyone to wear it as a visible sign of support and unity for him and his family.

Additional bracelets are available in the Marlow Front Office for families who would like one, joining in as #OneSchool to show our support. All we ask is for a $5 donation per bracelet, and 100% of the proceeds collected will go directly to support Ollie and his family.

Thank you for showing what it truly means to be 'All In for Ollie'and for supporting one another as a Marlow family and school community.

Our Marlow K-Kids are excited to sponsor a canned soup drive, benefiting Interfaith Assistance Ministries (IAM) in Henderson County, throughout the month of January. This service project is a wonderful way for our students to give back to our community while learning the importance of kindness and helping others. We appreciate any donations you are able to send in and thank you for supporting our students as they work to make a positive impact.
