Now Accepting Applications for the 2025-2026 Cohort
Leaders for Douglas County Schools is a program designed to give Douglas County School District parents/guardians and community members the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and understanding of our district's mission, operations, and strategic priorities.
The program is especially appropriate for those who are interested in becoming more active participants in their child's school or the school district as a whole in order to provide the brightest futures possible for each and every one of the 61,000 students across Douglas County School District.
We would like to offer you the opportunity to sign up for this year's Leaders for Douglas County Schools cohort. We will be limiting the cohort to 45 people via a lottery system. If you are interested in joining the class, fill out this form by September 9 (the form includes additional information such as class meeting dates and times).

To inspire more Coloradans to continue their education, all public colleges and universities in Colorado and several private institutions will allow students to apply for free from Oct. 7-9 as part of Colorado Free Application Days. Don't miss out on this FREE opportunity to apply for Colorado schools!
FAFSA Application is open!
Seniors—it’s time to get ready for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This is the form that determines your eligibility for grants, scholarships, work-study, and loans for college or trade school. Even if you don’t think you’ll qualify, many schools and scholarship programs require a completed FAFSA.
Families can begin applying online at studentaid.gov. We encourage you to apply as soon as possible—funds are often limited!
We’re excited to share that the very first episode of Raptor TV is live! Our Broadcast Media students have been working hard behind the scenes to produce this show, which will highlight school news, upcoming events, and student-created skits.
Episodes will be released every other week on Teal days, with the next one coming out on September 16. Check out this week's episode and celebrate the creativity and effort our students are putting into this new project!
Access Your Student’s CMAS Scores Online
DCSD would like to share that families can now access CMAS score reports electronically through the Pearson Family Portal. This secure site provides timely access to your child’s results, including strengths, areas for growth, and resources to support learning at home.
You’ll need your student’s State ID (SASID), name, and date of birth to log in. Please remember—CMAS results are just one piece of the puzzle in understanding your child’s learning, alongside classroom performance, teacher feedback, and grades.
