Demo, Demo, and more Demo!!!
That has been the theme at Regency for the past 1.5 weeks. After the Firecracker Invite, EDC went quickly to work to install the temporary walls that circle the 50m pool. These walls allowed for continuous practice and NOVAFit use while demolition kicked into overdrive - what an achievement and a testament to the hard work EDC and NOVA put into planning this construction sequencing.
In addition to the wall demolition, steelworkers have been building the support system for the cantilever bleachers along the North side of the building. Over 40 pieces of steel have been erected in the walls and ceilings where the large 1st floor spectator bleachers are located. These bleachers will be the largest section of spectator seating upon completion.
Additional items seeing progress include continued electrical and framing, masonry for new exterior windows (which can be seen from the parking deck), fire sprinkler installation and new HVAC units and associated duct work.
The project is on schedule and on budget for an October 2025 completion! We are moving full speed ahead… Stay tuned for the next update where we should have some news on the bleachers installation getting started!

NOVA swimmers delivered an outstanding performance at the District Championships, securing the team title with a combination of lightning fast swims, a flood of personal bests, and an electric atmosphere throughout the four day event. From the first race to the last, the energy on deck was unmatched. Teammates, Coaches, and parents roared as each heat hit the water, pushing our athletes to reach season long goals and personal bests.
The finals sessions were a standout highlight, with packed stands and thundering support creating a high-energy environment that fueled incredible swims across all age groups. Athletes in every group represented achieved new personal bests and qualified for higher-level meets, hitting new time standards that reflect months of hard work and focused training.

NOVA’s 2024-2025 season will end July 31, 2025. On that day, all swimmers will be coded “waiting for approval" in the TeamUnify system. Registration documents will be mailed out by USPS on August 1. This mailing will include a letter with your swimmer(s) recommended group, 2025-26 rates, and 2025-26 practice schedule.
Once you have received your recommendation, you will need to log into TeamUnify and find the blue circle “2025-26 Registration.”
Follow all the steps through the registration, ending with payment of the $125 registration fee with a credit card that will be kept on file. This process is more successfully completed using a computer, not a phone or ipad.
As registrations are received, our swimmers will be coded “active.” By getting your registration completed early, your swimmer(s) will be activated and you will ensure that you will receive any
emails sent out from coaches with group information.
