Kohlberg Elementary Newletter
Week of 3-17-25
Welcome back! Coyotes I hope you all had a restful and enjoyable spring break. As we step into the final stretch of the school year, I want to take a moment to emphasize the importance of attendance and highlight the continued availability of our after-school tutoring program.
Regular attendance is key to student success. Every day in school provides valuable learning opportunities, and consistent attendance helps our students stay on track academically and socially. Let’s work together to ensure our children are in school, on time, every day!
Additionally, our after-school tutoring program will continue to offer extra academic support. This is a great opportunity to strengthen skills, build confidence, and finish the year strong.
Thank you for your ongoing support in making Kohlberg a place where every student can thrive. Let’s make these last few months of school the best yet!

Word of the Month--COOPERATION!
I hope that you enjoyed a GREAT Spring Break.
Our word of the month for March is COOPERATION--Working together to do more than we can do alone. We appreciate all that you do as parents and guardians to support your children's education.
Let's all work as a team to ensure that each of our Kohlberg Coyotes is upholding our core values as we promise every day that we will--to be respectful, be responsible, be safe, be kind, and show Coyote Pride.
Thank you for reinforcing these values with your children at home so that they will remember to abide by them everywhere they go!
It is time to help our students work hard and play nicely. They will reap great rewards for their future when they learn to appreciate the value of cooperation, obedience, and hard work. Hang in there, parents--it is certainly worth the effort! Please let me know how I can support your child, and feel free to call me if you need anything.
Save the Date! March 26, 2025 Be a Buddy Not a Bully Walks Coming Soon!
On Wednesday, March 26th, we are encouraging all students and faculty to wear their orange "Be a Buddy Not a Bully" t-shirts that the district provided us at the beginning of the year. If your child is new and did not receive a t-shirt, we have some in the office.
We would also like to invite parents to join us during children's PE times for our "Be a Buddy Not a Bully Walks.
We will be asking students, teachers, and all Kohlberg staff to sign the NO PLACE FOR HATE PROMISE on this day. We invite parents to sign it as well.
