A Message from Mr. Ramirez
Dear John Marshall High School Families,
I am thrilled to share that we are off to a truly great start for the new school year, with energy and enthusiasm felt across all our classrooms. It has been a pleasure seeing our students re-engage with their studies and participate in the various campus activities that make our community so vibrant. Regarding our campus facilities, I am pleased to report that the construction project is currently on track and proceeding very well. We appreciate your continued patience as these improvements move forward to enhance our learning environment. Additionally, please be reminded that the 3-week progress reports were sent out last week to provide an early look at academic performance. We encourage you to review these with your students and reach out to their teachers with any questions or support needs. Thank you for your ongoing partnership in making this a successful year for every student.
Sincerely,
Paul Ramirez
Principal, John Marshall High School

COUNSELOR'S CORNER
Keep up to date on your latest Counseling news.
Welcome to the Marshall Family! We are so excited to partner with you and your child this school year. Our team is here to support your student’s academic progress as well as their social and emotional well being. We encourage you to use HAC in order to assist your child in keeping track of their grades and their attendance. Remember, students must have a 70 average and no more than 9 absences during the first semester (August 10-December 18) in order to earn credit for the courses that they are in.
Counselors will meet individually with all seniors from late August through early September to ensure they are fully prepared for graduation and beyond.
Counselors are assigned by student last name (Marshall or LMS). Please check our guide below to find your child’s counselor. For more resources and updates, visit our Counseling Department page on Smore.
We look forward to working with your child this 2026-2027 school year!
