We were able to pour into our students and community thanks to the generosity, commitment, and dedication of our Tiger families and the amazing staff. The above graphic tells some of the story (we will update it again once the school year actually wraps up)!

We are excited to announce our 2025-26 school year PTO Board!

Corresponding Secretary: Paula Rojas
Admin Representative- Michelle Crosby
Teacher Representative- Celisa Glasper

Congratulations to the new board, and thank you to all of the candidates for your interest and passion! The current board and incoming board are working on a smooth transition plan before the school year concludes.

Thank you to all who attended the May 28th PTO meeting. The meeting notes and slides are uploaded to the PTO's website here: https://www.cmitelementarypto.com/about-us
Additionally, thank you to the parents who attended the special Board of Education Townhall meeting on Thursday, May 29 at Central High School. Here is the recording of this session (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JT5bx7Kh4ko) where the PGCPS Board of Education CFO shares information on Charter School funding calculations. Mr. Ak, CLF CEO, was in attendance at this meeting, and while during the meeting, there was no opportunity for us to ask questions about the content, several Board Members did ask pertinent questions on our behalf. Please take some time to familiarize yourself with the conversation as it impacts all of our scholars and please reach out to us with any questions or feedback.
