Dear Lamar family,

October began restfully, with our intersession happening during the first two weeks of the month, preparing us for what is next. The following weeks are packed with a variety of events, some on very important matters and some that are fun and well-deserved for our wonderful Longhorns. Please continue reading for more information on the upcoming events.

El Paso Independent School District has updated its policy regarding Absence Reporting. Parents or guardians can no longer call the school's office to report a student's absence. Instead, parents are requested to access the attached QR code to document and justify a student's absence.

Don't hesitate to contact the office to clarify any questions!

Lamar Elementary School, in accordance with the district of El Paso, will begin using the EL Paso ISD app as a communication system with parents. Please download the EL PASO ISD app on iOS or Google Play.

If you see messages like "No content available" or "No rooms to show," it simply means that your child's teachers have not yet shared their rooms. Don't worry, they will do so soon.

If it is not possible to sign into the app, there might be a chance that the phone number or email being used has not been put on the Online Registration system. Another reason might be that the parent is registered, but Thrillshare has not linked the guardian to the student, so they can't log in.
