April Spotlight!
24-25 NJSLA - State Testing
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Soon after our return from Spring Recess, our schools will be administering this year's state assessments or the New Jersey Student Learning Assessments (NJSLA) in English Language Arts (ELA), Math, and Science. All 3rd-8th grade students across New Jersey complete these assessment annually to measure their ability to apply concepts and skills aligned with the New Jersey Student Learning Standards (NJSLS). Assessment results will be available to the district in the summer and sent home in the fall.
Below you will find this year's testing schedule for IMS and IMMS students. Kindly review and save these dates.
Parents, encourage a positive mindset by reminding your child to stay calm, take their time, and try their best. Also, please help us each day by ensuring your child ...
- goes to bed early
- has a healthy breakfast
- arrives to school on time
Best regards,
Mrs. Cannon
