Math- I can Solve with fluency one-step and two-step problems involving addition and subtraction within 1,000 using strategies based on place value, properties of operations, and the relationship between addition and subtraction.
Reading- I can use text evidence to support my response by looking back at the text as I answer questions.
Writing- I can pre-write by drafting letters, I can distinguish between proper and common nouns, and distinguish which nouns can be capitalized.
** In place of traditional spelling tests this year we will be participating in a program called Words Their Way, This is a research based spelling program that is differentiated to meet the students individual needs at their level.
Social Studies- I can create a timeline of important historical figures and explain how they have impacted our community.
Science- I can explore different forms of energy, including mechanical, light, sound, and thermal in everyday life
