We are excited to share a new way we are recognizing and celebrating positive behavior across Corron this school year! As part of our PBIS work, we have launched our building-wide Golden Paw reward system.

At Corron, we encourage all of our coyotes to follow The Corron Way:

🐾 Be Safe

🐾 Be Kind

🐾 Be Responsible

When students are demonstrating The Corron Way, staff members recognize their positive choices by awarding their class a Golden Paw. Staff also take a moment to explain to students why they earned the paw, helping them connect their actions to our school-wide expectations.

When a class earns 10 Golden Paws, they celebrate with a small classroom reward, such as PJ day or extra recess! You likely have seen some messages from your child’s teacher regarding these celebrations.

Our coyotes have been having so much fun working together to earn Golden Paws, and we are excited to see the positive choices, kindness, responsibility, and teamwork continue throughout our school.

We are so proud of our students for showing us what it means to Live The Corron Way! 🐾

We are so excited to share that we have a new Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) resource by Character Strong called PurposeFull People. PurposeFull People is a K-5 SEL curricular resource by Character Strong and replaces our previous SEL resource, Second Steps. This new program is engaging, fun, and teaches important skills to build respect, empathy, and perseverance, all while Being Kind, Being Strong, and Being Well. We look forward to rolling out this new SEL experience with our Coyotes this year and beyond. As we teach more traits throughout the year, we will send more information using the Character Trait Family Connections newsletter.

If your family is currently experiencing a significant financial need, our community partnerships offer several supports, including school clothes/shoes, winter coats/accessories, school supplies, toiletries, holiday meals, and/or holiday gifts. If you would like to be considered for any of these supports, please complete the Family Resource Form by September 11, 2026.
