Construction Began This Morning!

Dear Fairfax Families,

Construction began this morning at Wellington and Fairfax. Families traveling to and from Fairfax Elementary should expect possible traffic delays and allow extra time when coming to school.

We especially want to remind families about the importance of arriving by 8:45 AM.

Our instructional day begins with the Tiger Literacy Block at 9:00 AM. This is an uninterrupted, protected time for every student to build literacy skills. When students arrive on time, they have the opportunity to get settled, prepare for learning, and be ready to participate from the very beginning.

Every minute matters! Getting your child to school by 8:45 AM helps ensure they are ready to learn when our 9:00 AM literacy instruction begins.

With construction taking place near the school, please plan ahead and allow additional travel time. We appreciate your patience, flexibility, and partnership in helping Every Tiger. Every Day. Every Minute Matters!

Thank you for helping us make sure every student is here, ready, and learning!

Warmly,
Dr. Andrea C. Walker
Principal
