Principal Weekly Message
Greetings Rincon Community,
I hope everyone had a rejuvenating spring break—the kind of break you all truly deserve! As we return to school, let’s gear up to finish the year strong together.
This Friday marks the end of the third trimester, and progress reports will be mailed home on April 24th. This is a fantastic opportunity to check on grades and set goals for the final six weeks of the school year. Together, we can ensure our students finish with their best foot forward!
Additionally, we are excited to host a parent workshop this Friday focused on how to best support our students' academic success. We encourage you to join us and engage in meaningful discussions that will empower our students to excel.
We are also thrilled to welcome our incoming Bulldogs for our first-ever Rincon Unleashed event! This is more than just an orientation; it's an opportunity for our new students to discover the endless possibilities at Rincon. Led by our amazing student WEB and ASB leaders, this student-led event will be a celebration of our school spirit as we show our new Bulldogs all that Rincon has to offer and set them up for success. 6th Grades Take Action to Make the World a Better Place
Imagine walking miles every day just to gather water — water that isn't even safe to drink. In South Sudan, this is reality for thousands of families. Rincon's 6th grade ELA classes are trying to raise $1,000 for the Iron Giraffe Challenge. This will help the organization, Water for South Sudan, build wells and bring clean, life-saving water to communities in need. You can help. Donate here today and be part of the solution.

Salva Dut is hosting another Iron Giraffe challenge and if you want to make a change in the world, consider saving lives from drinking contaminated water. Donate now!
6th Grade Campers
What an incredible week for our 6th graders at Camp Cuyamaca! They dove into the great outdoors and embraced every moment of adventure. From breathtaking hikes that tested their limits to archery sessions where they aimed for goals both literal and personal, this week was packed with fun and learning. Evenings by the campfire fortified friendships with storytelling, laughter, and the great outdoors. Watching our students grow, explore, and connect with nature has been truly inspiring. Here’s to many more outdoor adventures and memories made!
