St. Paul Chong Hasang Bulletin
Sunday 18 October 2026
"The soul is satisfied now with nothing less than God. The pain is not bodily, but spiritual; though the body has its share in it. It is a caressing of love so sweet which now takes place between the soul and God, that I pray God of His goodness to make him experience it who may think that I am lying."
- Teresa of Ávila

We hope that, through their hard work and the effort they put into practice, they will grow together both physically and as a team!
A few reminders for parents:
- For children who wear glasses, please have them wear contact lenses if possible, or take extra precautions to ensure their safety during practice.
- Mouthguards and football gloves can be helpful during practice, so please consider bringing them if available.
- Please send your child with a personal water bottle to each practice. Extra water and light snacks will also be provided.
CCD PTO Announcement - Volunteer Readers needed
Please speak to Fr. Michael after mass if your child is interested!
<English Mass Reading Volunteer Reward Program>
Hello, parents!
We are happy to introduce a small reward program to encourage our CCD children to
participate in the English Mass reading.
The rewards will be given twice a year, in December and May. During English Mass, Fr. Michael
will recognize and encourage the children who have participated in the reading and present
them with a small reward.
Especially for parents of children in 3rd grade and above, we kindly ask you to talk with your
children and encourage them to try the reading when they feel ready.
We hope this opportunity will help our children experience the joy of serving and sharing God’s
Word, while becoming more involved in the English Mass.
Thank you so much for your support and encouragement!

Mass Reminders
To keep things running smoothly during Mass, please try to sit toward the inside (towards the middle aisle) of the pews. This will make it easier for latecomers to find their seats. We really appreciate your help!
Also, if mass has already started, please make sure your children are coming through the outer aisles, not the middle aisle where the Priest walks!
If your child has a cough, we suggest you give them a mask, at least while we are doing indoors mass! :)
About the above, and anything else missing...
Sorry, much of this is still a work in progress!
We may have more updates once we've settled into our roles somewhat.
In the meantime, please feel free to check out the Korean-Language Bulletin for the latest updates.
Peace and love be with you always! 💙
