6th Grade News
From the desk of Mrs. J. Peters, Assistant Principal
Week of October 9th-
Dear 6th Grade Parents and Families,
We are moving into our final week of the first quarter. It's hard to believe how quickly the school year goes...Please take a look at your child's schedule on Power School, as their Voyager Class will be changing on October 16th. This course will change for 2nd period and 10th period only. Please remind your child about the change and we will do the same here at school.
Our Veteran's Day Parade is coming up. All the details are written below in the newsletter. If you would like to participate with a Veteran from your family or a friend, please RSVP for the event. We are hoping for great weather so that we can have the parade -if not we will have a nice event inside.
Also as many may be aware, we had some students who did not receive their pictures from LifeTouch from Picture Day in August. LifeTouch has informed us that these pictures are no longer available.
Therefore, if you ordered pictures and did not receive pictures, please plan to have your child take their school picture again on Picture Re-take Day on October 10. For those families who have already submitted a picture packet and paid for school pictures and did not get their pictures, LifeTouch has this on file, they just do not have a picture.
Therefore, your student does not have to repay, or bring in anything additional, rather, just take their picture. LifeTouch plans to schedule another re-take day at a later time in the event students may need to retake pictures after this date. All students also have an opportunity to re-take their pictures on the 10th if needed as well.
Thank you for your understanding and plan to smile on October 10th!
Have a great week Mustangs!
Sincerely,
Mrs. J. Peters
Assistant Principal - Grade 6
