Happy School Year 27!!
Greetings Butler Families,
We had another great week here at Butler. We had a wonderful turn out for the Scouts of America meeting. Our student government candidates are making signs and campaigning throughout grades 3-5. Elections will be held at the end of the month. We are excited to start this service initiative here at Butler. Remember that school pictures will take place this coming Wednesday. Students are required to wear uniforms for fall pictures. There will be another opportunity for students to dress up for pictures in the Spring.

Butler Elementary Uniforms
With the understanding that student behavior is influenced by the way students are dressed and that no student should dress in a manner that is disruptive or has an adverse effect on school activities, the following mandatory uniform standards have been developed. Students are expected to dress in the school uniform during the school day, on field trips, and during school-related activities.
Please make note below:
- Students may wear any Butler Bear spirit shirt with uniform bottoms (as an alternative uniform shirt) daily. Spirits shirts will be sold throughout the year.
- Students may wear black uniform pants or skirts as a part of the uniform.
- School-sponsored hoodies will be permitted to wear.
Non-Uniform Days:
- Butler will now hold two dress down days per month. SCCPSS is promoting a cashless system. To comply, Butler will offer an opportunity for parents to make a one time payment of $10.50 for all scheduled dress down days during the year using school cash.
