First quarter report cards were sent home with students Friday and published to the Aspen portal. The first comment on the report card represents your student's classroom citizenship in each of their classes. Here is a link to the rubric that teachers used and there is a copy below. If you have any questions about grades please email your student's teacher(s) directly.

Student Council is hosting a Spirit Week this week. Students are encouraged to participate in each day's theme.

Monday-Twin Day (Dress in Twos with a friend)

Tuesday-Time Hop Day (Dress in your favorite decade or time period)

Wednesday-Westside Wednesday (Wear your Westside Schools Gear)

Thursday-Fall Colors (Dress in red, orange and yellow)

Friday-Celebrity Friday (Dress like your favorite celebrity)

As the weather shifts and gets colder, please make sure your student is dressed appropriately in layers for the colder mornings when they are out at their bus stop as well as on school grounds before we let them inside at 7:20. Unless it is raining, snowing or below 25 degrees, your child will be outside until 7:20. If you need a warm coat for your student please contact our social worker, Jillian Record via email jillianrecord@mansd.org.
