Behavior Concerns Behavior Concerns

Many of our students are experiencing spring fever please remind our students of appropriate school behavior. We still have 2 months left of kindergarten and behavior expectations remain the same. Please encourage your child to be a good listener, follow directions, and do the best they can every day. We appreciate your support. They must show they are ready for first grade.

No Toys No Toys

Please remind students that we do not bring toys to school. It is causing a big distraction, and students are giving toys to other students and causing confusion.

Absences Absences

When your student is absent from school, PLEASE make sure you are sending an excused note in their homework folder or sending an email to the front office.

Coming soon !! Coming soon !!

We will be learning about our 7 continents and 4 oceans. As you can imagine this is an abstract topic for 5-year-olds to understand. We really need support at home in having conversations of what they have learned at school.

Discussion topic examples:

- We live in North America.

- East Coast Oceans / West Coast Oceans

- Conversations about vacations if you have traveled anywhere

Important Reminders Important Reminders

1. Please make sure students are going to bed at a decent time as we get back into the routine

2. If your child has a fever they must be fever free for 24 hours before they return to school

3. Keep practicing tying their shoes.

4. Keep extra clothes in a ziploc bag in your student's backpack to use in case of need.
5. Teachers will respond to parent emails within a 24-hour timeframe.
6. If your child brings a home lunch they are welcomed to bring a water bottle for lunch only.

7. As the weather is changing make sure your child is dressed appropriately
