Good People,

As we approach the end of the calendar year, it is important to reflect on 2025. I am grateful to lead this vibrant school community. Thank you for entrusting us with your kids - they are really great humans. I know that there were challenges AND successes despite strange and difficult circumstances in 2025. Most importantly, I know that your student is growing and are more curious, collaborative, open-minded than they were the year before. It is a joy to watch them learn and grow.

Schools will be closed while students and staff enjoy time off for winter break from Monday, Dec. 22, 2025 - Friday, Jan. 2, 2026. Classes resume on Monday, Jan. 6. School year calendars and observance calendars can be found on the MPS website.

The Sanford PTA is proud to present a free parent information evening with Master Certified Life Coach (and Sanford parent) Sarah Cowan.

From Chaos to Calm with your Middle Schooler - How to be an empathetic and steady presence.

Please join us for an informational parent evening out. We'll provide the snacks, you bring your curiosity and questions. Look for more information to come in January!

Thank you to everyone who donated to our Give to the Max campaign. With your help, we were able to raise $5500 to buy new books for Sanford.

Our next meeting is January 20th from 6:00p-7:30p in the media center at Sanford. Enter through the main entrance - Door 12. All are welcome!
