Warren School Weekly Update May 19 2023

May 19, 2023

It was great to see so many of our artists and families at the art show last night. Thanks to Mrs. Colella, the Warren Student Art Show is a remarkable platform for our students to exhibit their artistic skills and imagination. The artwork displayed ranged from paintings and sculptures to mixed media projects. Each piece reflected the unique creativity and perspective of our students, offering a glimpse into their artistic journeys.

Last night served as a chance to engage in conversations about art, creativity, and the development of our talented students. I know I was amazed by the talent and enthusiasm displayed by our young artists, and the encouragement and appreciation meant the world to them.

Thank you for attending the Art Show. You not only demonstrated your support for your child's passion and dedication but also contributed to fostering their self-confidence and growth. Your presence served as a source of inspiration, encouraging them to explore their artistic abilities further and pursue their dreams.

Have a great weekend,

Pete Regan

Important End of Year Message from Nutrition Services Important End of Year Message from Nutrition Services

If you have a student who will not be returning to Ashland Public Schools in the fall, please go to www.myschoolbucks.com and disable autopay if you have been automatically adding funds to your child's meals account. Otherwise, no matter how many times we refund the balance on your account, it will keep getting reloaded.

Also, keep in mind, we can only issue refunds for amounts of $10 or more. If your child does not spend all of their funds, but the balance is below $10, your options are to

  1. transfer the funds to a sibling or someone else of your choosing who will be back next year
  2. donate the funds to a student in need (as an anonymous transfer)

Seniors can get a form from the cashier at Ashland High School to notify Nutrition Services of what they would like to do with the remaining funds in their accounts.

Once again, please shut off autopay now if your child is not coming back to Ashland in the fall.

Please send all refund, transfer or donation requests to Nutrition Services Director Regina Wilkinson at rwilkinson@ashland.k12.ma.us and Paula Caffrey at pcaffrey@ashland.k12.ma.us.
