Fox Hill Turkey Trot
Our Annual Fox Hill Turkey Trot will be on Friday, November 22nd at 2:30PM. Parents of runners are welcome to come outside and watch the run. You do not need to check in to the office to come and watch the race outside. Please park and head towards the back of the school. Students will be spread out around the race route. The Turkey Trot will start and end on the blacktop. All 3-5th grade runners that signed up will run 2 laps, 1.3 miles. Certificates and turkeys are awarded to the top three girls and top three boy runners! 4th-6th place winners will be rewarded with Ribbons. This is meant to be fun and promote wellness.
CHANGE: Rather than do a quick all school assembly to announce the winners, we have decided to announce them live on our Fox Hill You Tube Channel. This will air on Facebook, just like our announcements do every morning. This will allow all families to follow along with the awards. We will likely begin this around 3:45 following the Turkey Trot. All parents are welcome to watch the winners announced by following our You Tube Channel or going to our FH Facebook Page.
Because of the Turkey Trot, we will have a different lunch, encore and recess schedule for the day. We are asking parents not to come up and eat with their child on days that follow this different schedule. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
We are also asking for parent volunteers to help supervise along the course. If interested, please sign-up below.

Staff Appreciation Donations
Our Booster Club would like to thank all of our staff for their hard work and dedication to all 620 students at Fox Hill. One way to show appreciation to our staff for all their hard work is to gift each staff member with a $10 gift card. They are asking for donations to help purchase these gift cards for staff members, making it a collective effort. If you would like to donate a $10 gift card or two, please sign up below and send the gift card to our FH front office. Our Booster Club will then distribute them to every staff member before the holiday break as a 'thank you for all you do!'
Congratulations, Olivia!
Congratulations to Fox Hill 4th grader Olivia Zieber who was selected to the 2025 Missouri All-State Children’s Choir. She will participate in the All-State choir at the Missouri Music Educator’s Conference in January at Tantara. Over 1000 student auditions were submitted from all across Missouri and only 135 students were selected! This is truly an honor! We are so proud of Olivia and excited she will represent Fox Hill and the North Kansas City Schools at MMEA!
Districtwide Survey: November 4th-22nd We want your feedback!

We invite and encourage all parents and guardians to participate and share your feedback on a variety of topics, including engagement, decision-making, academics and more. Invitations to participate are being sent out through all district communication channels. The survey will be online and can be taken on a phone, tablet, or computer and is accessible through multiple languages.
Any parent/guardian who completes the survey will be prompted after submitting to enter a drawing for one of two $50 Walmart gift cards, thanks to the support of our fantastic Education Foundation. Choosing to participate in this giveaway is optional.
