The final quarter of the 2025-2026 school year is upon us! It is important for your student to turn in homework on time, have good attendance, and end the year on a strong note. With just a quarter of the school year left, students should focus on good study habits and review material in preparation for their final exams (worth 20% of the final grade).

PRE-REGISTRATION FOR CURRENT LHHS STUDENTS 9TH - 11TH
Counselors are meeting with students to select classes for the 2026-2027 school year end of February through early March. Students will have the opportunity to discuss and review their selections with their families. Final schedules will be released in Summer around mid-July. At that time, students will have the opportunity to make final adjustments to their schedules if they have an elective change request or are academically misplaced.
During pre-registration, students were given copies of their graduation status report via StudentVUE mail. Please ask your student about this important information regarding their credits and course selections based on their four-year plan and what they intend to do after high school graduation. If they want to attend a four-year university, make sure that they meet all the requirements.
Just a reminder, counselors are assigned based on student last names.

a. Please go to the following url and fill out the request form: https://bit.ly/2026capandgown
4. Can I decorate my graduation cap?
a. No, students may not add personalization to their caps or gowns, and may not wear extra cords, stoles or leis other than what has been previously approved by Administration and provided to you directly by LHHS.
5. How do I care for my cap & gown?
a. Once you receive your cap & gown from Jostens, please be sure to take it out of the plastic wrap/packaging at least one week prior to graduation.
b. You will need to hang the gown to allow the wrinkles to fall prior to graduation night. DO NOT IRON YOUR GOWN! Ironing the gown will cause burns, tears or holes in the material. b. We must receive your transcript by May 8th in order for you to be eligible for graduation.
11. When do I have to be done with my work credit hours?
a. May 8th
12. What if I fail a class?

b. If you fail a second semester class, you will not be able to participate in the graduation ceremony; however, we do offer a Senior Credit Recovery during the week of graduation.
