NOTE FROM YOUR PRINCIPAL
Dear Titus Family,
This week was another great one at Titus! There was so much wonderful learning taking place throughout our classrooms. I had the opportunity to spend some time in Ms. Mann’s fourth grade music class, where students were highly engaged in their learning as they practiced maintaining beat and rhythm. Their enthusiasm and focus were wonderful to see! I also visited Mrs. Chrencik’s classroom, which has been beautifully decorated to officially welcome the fall season. Students were actively engaged in their purposeful play stations, and it was amazing to see so much imagination, creativity, and cooperative play taking place.
As a reminder, Picture Day is Tuesday, September 29th. Please send your child to school in their picture day outfit of choice. We can't wait to see all of the great smiles and class photos captured throughout the school! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, and we look forward to seeing our students back at school on Monday!
Your Principal,
Erin Walter

TITUS SCHOOL DAY
START OF THE SCHOOL DAY ...
We are an "A" or early school, and our hours are 8:35 AM to 3:15 PM.
Please be aware that the school day begins at 8:35 AM in your child(ren)'s classroom(s). If you are a car rider in the morning, it is recommended that children are dropped off no later than 8:30 AM in order to get to their classrooms for the start of the school day at 8:35 AM. If a student arrives in their classroom beyond 8:35 AM, they are considered tardy. Parents will need to come into the building to sign their child in if they arrive after 8:35 AM.
The adults supervising the car-rider drop-off line will be on duty until 8:32 AM. Students dropped off after 8:32 AM will more than likely not be able to make it to their classrooms on time for the start of the school day at 8:35 AM. Also, for safety reasons, students arriving to school prior to 8:15 AM, need to be supervised by their parent/caregiver. We ask that all students wait with their family member in the drop off line until 8:15 AM.
Absences and Appointments
Dismissal Change Procedure
End-of-Day Dismissal Change Procedure:
If your student must go home a different way than usual, please follow these steps to ensure your student dismisses the correct way:
✅Email your student’s teacher and copy the entire office staff, stating your student’s name and the end-of-day dismissal change:
- [teacher's email]@cbsd.org
✅If a student is going home with another family, the parents of both families must email or call the office, providing consent.
✅Copying the entire office staff assures the dismissal change is included in end-of-day dismissal announcements and is a backup if the teacher or any office staff are absent.
✅Please submit changes as early as possible. Changes cannot be accepted after 2:50PM.

VOLUNTEERS
DON'T FORGET CLEARANCES....
Titus requires all potential volunteers to complete their paperwork for clearances prior to assuming any volunteer/chaperone role within the school. This will ensure we are in line with district and state expectations.
Who Needs Clearances: An individual who is responsible for the child's welfare or has direct contact with children. Pennsylvania law requires all persons having direct contact with school children to obtain background checks and clearances. In the best interest of the safety and security of our students, Central Bucks School District requires the submission of these clearances prior to volunteering during the school year. Each volunteer must create an individual Raptor account, and all required clearances must be submitted with your application. Approved volunteers must check in at the office with photo ID, such as a driver's license, when volunteering.
Additional information and steps on how to complete your clearances and to register to be a volunteer can be found on our district website.
