Mrs. Maslyk's Message 💌

Welcome to our first monthly newsletter! We’ve had a fabulous start to the school year at Lincoln Elementary. Our students are already doing an amazing job following the Lincoln Way: being SAFE, KIND, and RESPONSIBLE. Be sure to ask your child what being a Lincoln Grizzly looks like on the playground, in the cafeteria, and in their classroom!

If you haven't already, please check out our Welcome to Lincoln presentation for key details about our school day. Strong partnerships between home and school are the heart of student success, so please never hesitate to reach out with questions or ideas.

📆 Don't miss the bottom section! At the end of every monthly newsletter, you’ll find important upcoming dates to add to your family calendar.

Counselor Corner! 💬

Welcome to Mrs. McNamara’s Counselor Corner!

September is all about settling in, building connections, and strengthening the skills students need for a successful school year! This month, students are focusing on important skills for learning while connecting those skills to our school-wide character trait of Respect.

Inside this month’s issue, you’ll find a look at what students are learning in classroom guidance, updates and resources from the counseling program, and information about our upcoming Community Connections Night for Lincoln families! 💛

📞 Attendance: If your child will be absent or late, please call (330) 335-1461. Late arrivals and early dismissals must be signed in/out by an adult. Planning a vacation? Please notify the school before you travel, as vacation absences require prior approval from Mrs. Maslyk to be considered excused.

🎂 Birthdays: Lincoln is a treat-free school for birthday celebrations. Students may celebrate by donating a book to their classroom or our library. We’ll also recognize them during morning announcements with a special birthday pencil! ✏️

Thanks for helping us keep Lincoln running smoothly!
