The Rocket Way
Respect - Pride - Integrity
Connections are Important!
Dear Twin Lake Families,
The weather is changing - as it does in Michigan. Please dress your rockets for the weather. Also, please check the pictures below of the lost and found tables. We have SO MUCH STUFF and it needs to go home.
We are in need of some prizes for our Rocket Slip treasure chest. If you have any old happy meal toys or small trinkets at home, we would love to take them off your hands. Amazon also sells buckets of goodies like "squishies" or pencils or fun erasers. If you are so inclined, we would love some donations to encourage our positive behaviors. Thank you for the donations - we could use some more to recognize our awesome kids!!
Our whole school is going to the Rocket Centre on October 30 to see the Hope College dance group performance. They are going to be performing a piece based on the book called, What Can a Citizen Do? We are super excited for this fine arts experience!
Thank you to everyone that participated in the Trunk or Treat on Friday! It was super fun and great to see everyone! Spooky season is off to a great start! Also, thank you to everyone that helped with our tractor ride and pumpkin patch! Especially, Mr. and Mrs. Kolbe and Grandpa Emil and Grandma Sue! It was a great day!
Our CKH focus of the month is Self-Direct - This month, we’re challenging students to envision
future goals and take intentional steps toward who they want to be. We are partnering with you to grow and develop your child’s ability to self-direct. We can model self-direction by celebrating the positive in each day, seeking the good in others, and emphasizing our responsibility to make positive choices.
We are here to help! Feel free to call the office at 231-719-3190, if you have questions or concerns. Once school starts, you will use this number to report any student absences as well. The school office will be open Monday through Fridays from 8:00-4:00 each day.
We are all looking forward to seeing you!
Thank you!

Rising Rockets - Youth Program
Please see the video below from the high school athletic department introducing Rising Rockets, an initiative designed to provide a one-stop digital location for all things youth athletics, in Rocket City.
Our goal is to make it easier for families to find information about camps, clinics, youth leagues, and opportunities to get involved in Reeths-Puffer athletics. Through Rising Rockets, you’ll be able to explore offerings, connect with programs, and register your student-athlete all in one convenient place.
We’re excited to continue building strong connections with our future Rockets and hope this resource makes navigating youth athletics in our community even easier.
