Ringing in high ratings!

On Friday, May 8th the HMS Handbell Ensemble traveled to Hershey, Pa to participate in the Music in the Parks festival. The group performed alongside eleven other school ensembles and earned a “Superior”, the festival’s highest rating. HMS was the only middle school group in the choral category to receive this distinction. Judges praised both the uniqueness of a handbell ensemble at the middle school level and the dedication of our members. After the performance, students enjoyed the rest of the afternoon at Hersheypark. Our students did a fantastic job representing themselves, our music program, and our school!
