2024-2025 Calendar Update Calendar-School Board
The School Board will be voting on the 2024-2025 Calendar tonight 3/14/24
Job Descriptions-
Damon Donnell and Jeremy White continue to work on creating uniform job descriptions for classified positions, which will link directly to the job's pay scale to make them easier to understand.
Subcommittee for Classified Employee Engagement
The subcommittee for Classified Employee Engagement sent out a trial S'MORE to gauge how many staff members read their email. Over 1000 classified staff members opened the SMORE, which is around 80% of the total classified staff. Damon is requesting suggestions on what kind of content the staff would like to see in the SMORE newsletter. Please email him at ddonnell@sdale.org with your suggestions.
Classified Banquet
The Chamber will be hosting the Banquet on April 16th from 5-7 pm.
Giveaways, food and fun. More information to follow

Salary Schedule Comparison
Sherry Pianalto has compiled a list of salary scales for neighboring districts for comparison

The Classified PPC would like more clarity on the following proposed policy changes.
8.48—CLASSIFIED PERSONNEL DUTY TO MAINTAIN LICENSE IN GOOD STANDING

Concern was brought up that Substitute Nurses may not have received District Safety Protocol training
Damon Donnell will follow up
Question about Medical Plans being accessible between schools for students who travel to other campuses for practice or activities
This issue needs to be discussed with Amy Schultz
