Wildcat Weekly

Hello Wildcats! We are your new admin team and couldn't be more thrilled be a part of the WOW family. This next week is a big week for our staff, students and parents as we welcome in the 2026-2027 school year!

You can expect a new issue of Wildcat Weekly on most Sundays throughout the year to keep you informed of important updates and events. Be sure you are connected on the Judson ISD app so you don't miss any communication.

Please take a moment to look over our morning arrival/dismissal information and maps below to help our students get back into the routine as quickly as possible.

We look forward to being a part of your child's educational journey. It's going to be a great year. Be sure to come say hi at Meet the Teacher!

• Feel free to bring your child's school supplies to help alleviate so much to carry on the first day.
• Nurse Gill will be available in our clinic if you have medications to drop-off.
• Be sure to stop by the library to meet our campus counselor, Mrs. Zapata!

For the first 3 days of school, we welcome parents to walk their child to class. Please keep in mind this is not a time to conference with the teacher, as they will be busy helping their new students transition to coming back to school.

🐾Walk them to class, snap that photo and give them a big hug to set the course for their day! We'll take it from there!

Please ensure your child's teacher is well aware of how your child will be going home for dismissal. If you are attending Meet the Teacher, please help our teachers by filling out a backpack dismissal tag for your child.

❗The first few days of dismissal always take longer than expected as our Wildcats are learning the routine. We appreciate your patience and we promise it will get much faster with practice!

✨Our morning recess routine will begin Monday, August 17th! 1st-5th grade students will have the opportunity to play outside from 6:50-7:10. To ensure student safety during our new morning activities, visitors will not be permitted in the building during morning arrival from 6:50-7:30am. Admin approved volunteers may be an exception to this during certain campus activities & events.

✨We will no longer utilize the entry door near our music room for morning arrival due to security measures. All students entering on the cafeteria side of the school will need to enter at the cafeteria door.
