Dear Elementary School Families,

Just a reminder that we have early dismissal on September 17th (Wednesday) for the homecoming parade. Dismissal will be at 1:20 pm. Please be sure to pick up your child at 1:20 pm. The Homecoming Parade starts at 5:30 pm.

Yucca Elementary is thrilled to announce that our Student Council has been started! After a successful election, we'd like to congratulate all of our new Student Council officers. Thank you to all of our students who applied to be in Student Council, and for all that ran to be officers.

We'd also like to extend a huge thank you to Mrs. Eldridge, Ms. Joiner, and Mrs. Rodriguez for their guidance in leading this wonderful group of students.

Get Ready for a Week of Discovery!

Mark your calendars! Our special Math & Science Night is on Tuesday, September 24th, at 5:30 PM. Get ready for a night of engaging, hands-on activities that the whole family can enjoy. We'll have free pizza for everyone who attends! We can't wait to see you there.

Toys- Need to Stay at Home

To address a recent increase in disruptive behaviors, we ask that students please leave all toys, stuffed animals, and other toy objects—including those on lanyards—at home.

Thank you for your cooperation and for helping to keep our school a focused and safe learning environment.

Sincerely,

Christina Trujillo, PhD

Principal
