You're Invited! PAS's Annual Curriculum Night You're Invited! PAS's Annual Curriculum Night

Dear Plato Academy Seminole Families,

As parents, we've all asked, "How was school today?" only to be met with a simple "Good" or "Nothing." Curriculum Night is your chance to step into your child's academic world and get a firsthand look at the exciting year of learning ahead.

Please join us for our annual Curriculum Night, a foundational event designed to strengthen our home-school partnership and empower you with the information you need to support your child's success.

Event Details:

  • Date: Wednesday, September 10, 2025

  • Time: 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM

  • Who: This is a parents/guardians only event to allow for focused conversation between adults. We kindly request that you arrange childcare for your students.

Schedule & Format by Grade Level

Please find the schedule for your child's grade level below.

Grades K-2 Grades K-2

K-2 teachers will present the same information during two repeated sessions. You only need to attend one session per teacher.

  • Session 1: 5:00 PM - 5:30 PM

  • Session 2: 5:30 PM - 6:00 PM

Meet in your child's homeroom classroom to learn about the daily schedule, core subjects, reading and math programs, classroom expectations, and how we build a positive learning community. Kindergarten will meet together in Room 101.

Grade 3 Grade 3

Our 3rd-grade teachers will hold a two-part presentation. From 5:00 to 5:30 PM, they will present information specific to their homerooms. Then, from 5:30 to 6:00 PM, all classes will combine for a presentation on 3rd-grade testing. Please plan to stay for the full hour.

  • Session 1: 5:00 PM - 5:30 PM - Individual Homerooms

  • Session 2: 5:30 PM - 6:00 PM - Combined Classes

Please meet in your child's homeroom classroom. The presentation will have two parts:

Session 1 will cover our daily schedule, core subjects, reading and math programs, classroom expectations, and how we build a positive learning community.

Session 2 will focus on important 3rd-grade promotion information. We encourage you to stay for both sessions.

Grades 4-5 Grades 4-5

Our 4th and 5th-grade students switch between two main teachers for their core subjects. Both teachers will be presenting together, allowing you to meet with them at the same time.

To better accommodate your schedules, the teachers will offer two identical presentation sessions. You only need to attend one. Please feel free to choose the session that works best for you.

  • Session 1: 5:00 PM - 5:30 PM (Session 1)

  • Session 2: 5:30 PM - 6:00 PM (Session 2)

You will learn about expectations, curriculum, and grading for ELA/Social Studies and Math/Science.
