OC Elementary Principal's Update

A big thank you to all our families for taking the time to attend Parent-Teacher Conferences! We truly value the partnership between home and school, and your involvement makes such a difference in your child’s success. We appreciate the conversations, the questions, and the support you show our staff and students each day.

As the temperatures start to drop, please make sure your child comes to school dressed for the weather. Mornings can be chilly even when afternoons warm up, so jackets, hats, and gloves are a good idea. We want all students to be comfortable and ready to learn both inside and outside during recess!

Congratulations to 2nd grader, Chase Sluyter, on being named October's overall Student of the Month! Chase consistently shows what it means to act with integrity — always doing the right thing, even when no one is watching. We’re so proud of the positive example he sets for others every day!

• If your child misses school due to a doctors appointment, please send a note with your child when they return.
• Toys for Tots forms are due back November 10th to the office. If you have any questions, please call the office
• In the event that we should need to have a late start or no school due to weather, we will utilize our One Call system as well as local news stations. Please call the office if you are not on the call list.
