We would like to congratulate our 2021 Teacher of the Year Ms. King and our Rookie Teacher of the Year Ms. Norris! You two have worked so hard and we are incredibly proud of both of you!

We would also like to recognize our finalists for Teacher of the Year and Rookie Teacher of the Year, Ms. Taylor, Mr. Roquemore, Ms. Burton, Mr. Anderson, and Ms. Negrete! You are all wonderful teachers that make an enormous positive impact on your students and colleagues!

Mead Middle School will have a virtual Open House on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, from 5:00-6:30 pm. Families will have an opportunity to meet with their student’s teacher, hear from campus leaders, and campus Family and Community Engagement (FACE) liaisons.

Meeting Agenda

• Due Date: Thursday, December 10th by 4:30pm

• Submit a 1:30 ( one minute and 30 second) clip of you singing and performing to the email below. ( You must have video of you performing. Video must be karaoke style.)

• Be sure to hide your identity! That’s the point of the show...lol. Costumes don’t have to be fancy, but get creative when hiding your identity. See Mrs. Jordan in room A1707 for help.

• Songs must be appropriate for school and must NOT contain any profanity (curse words) or suggestive language.. Videos that do not follow guidelines will not be submitted.

The SOOTHE committee would like to invite you to join in on our 30 Day Happy Educator Challenge. This does not have to be viewed as a calendar; it is a suggestion for daily activities to act as little motivators to keep you happy, healthy, and moving forward. Feel free to complete activities only on weekdays or on weekends, too! This is intended to extend throughout the winter break, so the daily activities are not limited to school time.

Basketball is off to a good start! The 7th grade boys are 2 and 0 going into District play. The 8th grade boys are also gearing up for District play. The 7th grade girls are 1 and 1 and ready for District. The 8th grade girls are 2 and 0 ready for District play as well. Paws Up Jaguars!
