Hoyne Happenings
Hello Families,
It was great to have a full week of learning, engaging, and community building last week. Last week we had our first ever International Night. It was a huge success and amazing to see and hear students, both sharing about their culture, but also learning about other cultures. I am constantly amazed at the amazing family of students, parents, and staff that make Pembroke an great place to be. Thank you to all you volunteered, planned, had tables, and attended. On Friday, we ended the week with a Wacky Science assembly that students earned from the Fun Run. Students had a great time!
This week we are looking forward to having PRIDE Packs on Friday. Students will be participating in our second community read of the year. As a reminder this Wednesday is a half day with dismissal at 11:50 am. We will end our week with our Pembroke Talent Show. The talent show will be in the Pembroke gym at 6:00 pm.
Have a great week!

Our first International Night was a success! Students experienced the beautiful cultures that make up our PRIDE through food, games, crafts, and more. A special thank you to Anvita Bawa for chairing this new event. We are also incredibly grateful to all of the families who hosted a table. This event would not have been possible without you!
