Family and Friends, we are now moving into February, a pivotal month as we continue the spiritual launch of our 68th Church Anniversary celebration! This monumental milestone is a powerful time of unity, fellowship, and prophetic Word. As we honor our history, we also plant the seeds for our future.

To honor this 68-year journey and fuel the work of the ministry, I am calling on each of you to partner with us through a special Anniversary Seed. Your generosity allows the legacy of Mount Calvary Baptist Church to thrive.

I invite you to pray and consider sowing at one of our four Giving Tiers:

Tier Contribution

Solomon Partner$1,000

Joseph Partner$750

Abraham Partner$500

Lydia Partner$250

How to Give:

  • Givelify: Scan the QR code (found on our bulletins and screens).

  • Zelle: Send to mcbc@bellsouth.net.

  • In-Person: Bring your offering directly to the sanctuary.

The sanctuary remains a sacred place of corporate strength and renewal. While we cherish our online family, I want to personally invite you to join us in person throughout February. There is an undeniable power in our physical presence and shared worship as we dedicate this quarter to the Lord. Whether you’ve been away for a while or attend every week, your presence adds to the "corporate anointing" of our house. For those unable to be in the building, we are grateful to remain connected with you via our streaming platforms.

May 2026 usher in unparalleled favor, health, and spiritual growth for you and your families. Let us move powerfully together into our 68th Anniversary year!

Managing in the meantime and Grateful,

Bishop W. Oshea Granger

Senior Pastor

Let's pray for our Bishop - Bishop W. Oshea Granger, Senior Pastor Let's pray for our Bishop - Bishop W. Oshea Granger, Senior Pastor

Heavenly Father,

We thank You for the anointing and visionary leadership of Bishop W. Oshea Granger. We honor the grace You have placed upon him to lead Mount Calvary with a prophetic heart and a steady hand.

We pray for:

  • Visionary Momentum: Fill him with Your Holy Spirit and clear direction for 2026. As he presses toward the goal of the upward call (Philippians 3:13-14), propel our church forward as a catalyst for Your grace.

  • Divine Endurance: Strengthen him in body, mind, and spirit. Protect him from weariness and grant him the supernatural energy to lead with passion, knowing that in due season, we shall reap (Galatians 6:9).

  • Refreshing & Protection: Grant him deep moments of rest and renewal in Your presence. We cover his family and his home—let it be a sanctuary of peace, unity, and overwhelming joy.

As he pours into us, Lord, pour back into him a double portion of Your favor.

In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

How to Accept Jesus as Savior

The Problem

Romans 3:23 (CEB)
All have sinned and fall short of God’s glory.

Romans 3:10 (CEV)
The Scriptures tell us, “No one is acceptable to God!”

The Consequences

Romans 5:12 (NIrV)
Sin entered the world because one man sinned. And death came because of sin.
Everyone sinned, so death came to all people.

Romans 6:23 (ERV)
When people sin, they earn what sin pays—death. But God gives his people a free gift—eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

It only takes a minute to create your own Bible Gateway free personal account and you’ll immediately upgrade your Bible Gateway experience. Do it right now!

The Scope

Romans 1:20 (ICB)
There are things about God that people cannot see—his eternal power and all the things that make him God. But since the beginning of the world those things have been easy to understand. They are made clear by what God has made. So people have no excuse for the bad things they do.

The Solution

Romans 5:8 (GNT)
God has shown us how much he loves us—it was while we were still sinners that Christ died for us!

The Response

Romans 10:9-10 (NIV)
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

The Assurance

Romans 10:13 (NLT)
Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
