Field Day is coming up and we need your help to make it an amazing day for our students! We’re looking for volunteers to help run activity stations as classes rotate through every 10 minutes.

🕘 Event Times:
• K–2nd Grade: 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM
• 3rd–5th Grade: 1:15 PM – 2:45 PM

📌 Volunteer Reminders:
• Please arrive 15 minutes before your shift for instructions and station assignment
• Bring a photo ID to sign in
• You will remain at your assigned station for the duration of your shift
• Dress for the weather

🎓✨ Help Us Celebrate Our 5th Graders! ✨🎓

We’re getting ready to send our amazing 5th graders off to middle school, and we’d love your help making their last day truly special! 💚

We are looking for volunteers to support 5th Grade Recognition and last day activities to help everything run smoothly on this exciting and memorable day.

👉 We’re especially looking for Kindergarten–4th grade parents to lend a hand on the day of the event so our 5th grade families can fully enjoy this special milestone moment.

Strongsville City Schools has launched a webpage to provide families and community members with clear, factual information about our District’s long-range elementary facilities plan - the Foundation for the Future Facilities Plan - which is under consideration for the May 5, 2026 ballot.

This webpage (scsmustangs.org/f4f) offers an overview of the planning process, background information, and now includes drafts of the layouts of the buildings that will potentially be constructed at the Albion, Chapman, and Surrarrer properties. As we approach our spring testing window, we want to emphasize the importance of student attendance on testing days. Please make every effort to have your child at school on their scheduled testing days and avoid scheduling appointments during these times if possible. Thank you for your help!

As we begin planning for next school year, we understand that some families may wish to share input regarding their child’s classroom placement, including specific learning needs, peer considerations, or requests for student separation.

All requests will be carefully reviewed and considered as part of our placement process. However, please note that we are not able to guarantee specific teacher requests or placements.

Creating balanced and supportive classrooms requires us to consider many important factors, including (but not limited to):

• Academic needs and abilities
• Social and emotional development
• Student personalities and peer dynamics
• Gifted services and special education supports
• Overall classroom composition

Our goal is always to create the best possible learning environment for every student. We appreciate your trust in our team and your understanding of this complex process.

To ensure a consistent and thoughtful process, we ask that families do not send placement requests directly to teachers/counselor. Instead, please direct all requests to Mrs. Harrell by completing the form below no later than June 4, 2026.
