It is hard to believe but the end of our second trimester is quickly approaching on March 6. I would like to take this opportunity to encourage everyone reading this message to check in with your children about their grades and goals and to ensure they have a clear plan in place for success. Setting goals is important but without a thoughtful plan of action, they are much harder to achieve.

25th Anniversary Celebration

St. Patrick’s Day T-Shirt Sale – Support Our Student-Athletes! ☘️
The Sussex Academy Sports Boosters are excited to launch a St. Patrick’s Day t-shirt sale to support our athletic programs and provide scholarship awards to one senior male and one senior female student-athlete at the end of the school year. The sale includes youth and adult sizes, so elementary, middle, and high school families can all participate. Place your order on or before March 6.
Shirts will be delivered to the school on March 13, and our Sports Boosters will organize distribution. Please see the link below to place your order and support a great cause. Thank you for helping us invest in our student-athletes!

AP Exams
Exam registration has begun for students who began an AP course trimester 2.

Attention Junior Parents
Jostens visited the Junior Class today to share information about class rings and other commemorative products. Each student received a paper envelope with ordering details for rings and additional keepsake items.

BE SMART Program
Next week, our middle school students will participate in the BE SMART program through Prevent Child Abuse Delaware, which focuses on personal safety, boundaries, and identifying trusted adults.
