Welcome to the 2026-27 School Year, LBA Families!
We hope you have all had a wonderful, restful summer filled with fun and memorable moments. As we open our doors for the start of the 2026–27 school year, we are thrilled to welcome our returning families back to school and extend a warm greeting to all of the new faces joining the LBA community!
Our staff has been hard at work getting classrooms and facilities ready to ensure your children have a safe, engaging, and respectful environment to learn and grow. We are energized for the year ahead and eager to build on the wonderful foundation we have created together in the past.
Be sure to keep an eye out for updates from The BEE Team, our school support organization launched last spring. They have some fantastic events and volunteer opportunities planned for the coming months, and there will be plenty of ways to jump in and get involved. The first, of which, is an introductory meeting on Wednesday, August 12 at 5:00pm in the school library. Please email Wade.Helleson@k12.sd.us if you plan to attend.
