2026 Colorado State Testing Week
With the April testing week approaching, please take a moment to review the importance, value, and impact these assessments have on Mountain Vista High School, as detailed HERE. We want everyone to be informed before making decisions to opt students out of exams. While these tests may seem insignificant and burdensome to many students, they directly impact how Mountain Vista is viewed amongst other high schools in our district and state.
Our request: Please talk with your students and encourage them to take their respective Colorado state assessments. We know they are the best and the brightest, and we want them to put their best foot forward in everything they do!

Parking Update: Let’s Keep the Lots Running Smoothly!
Our campus parking lot has been looking a bit like a game of Tetris lately! The high volume of drivers means we need to ensure everyone has a fair and safe place to park.
- Back Lot Permits (Blue Eagle Sticker): You MUST park in the Back Lot
- Front Lot Permits (Orange Eagle Sticker): You MUST park in the Front Lot
Here is what you need to know to avoid a ticket (or worse):
The Golden Rule: Permits are Mandatory
Please ensure your parking permit is valid and properly displayed. To maintain fairness for those who have registered, we have begun active monitoring and ticketing for all unauthorized vehicles
❗Important❗️: Continued parking violations may lead to permanent loss of parking privileges for future school years. Don't risk your spot for next year by continuing to park without a permit.
Sophomores Waitlist Only: Click Here to be put on the waitlist for a parking permit. We will email you if a spot opens up!
