MMS Update
Week of May 18th
8th Grade Week!
Greetings MMS Families,
As we head into an exciting week at MMS, we are thrilled for our 8th grade students as they participate in their culminating activities and engage in meaningful learning experiences beyond the classroom. Students traveling to Washington, DC and throughout New England will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding through authentic experiences, historical exploration, and hands on learning connected to their studies. We hope these experiences inspire curiosity, broaden perspectives, and provide valuable opportunities for growth as students conclude their middle school journey. Eighth grade families should also mark their calendars for the MHS Parent Night on May 28 as students and families begin preparing for the transition to high school. While many of our 8th graders are traveling, our 7th grade students remaining at MMS will also have a busy and exciting week filled with engaging learning opportunities and fun activities here at school. Please see below for additional information and important updates for the week ahead.
Have a great week everyone!

Dismissal/Visiting Procedures
In our ongoing effort to increase school security, we have the following procedures when parents/guardians come to our school during school hours. Thank you all for your understanding.
Dismissal - If dismissing a student, we ask that an authorized dismissing parent/guardian show their ID in the foyer, and then wait in that location for the dismissed student to meet you.
Dropping off items - If a parent/guardian is dropping off an item for a student, we ask that they leave it in the designated area in the foyer.
Visiting the school - If parents/guardians are arriving for a scheduled meeting, we ask that they show their ID in the foyer and then sign in at the main office to receive a visitor pass.
