Nauset Regional Middle School ROCKS
A Weekly Update from NRMS - October 31, 2025
Reminders & Headlines
The 8th Grade Class is going to New York City!
We are excited to share that the 8th grade class trip will be in New York City this year. We need your help. We need a group of parents to assist with organizing fundraising to help us get the cost of the trip per student as low as possible. We would like to plan a Fun Run and other fundraisers. If interested in taking on this role, please contact Principal Cohen and Mr. Peterson. Information Meeting Wednesday November 12 at 6pm.
Nauset App Help Page
Families should download the Nauset App to receive school updates, alerts, and messages. Please note: some people have mistakenly downloaded the Thrillshare App instead. The Thrillshare App is for staff only and does not allow families to log in. To help, we have created the Nauset App Help Page on the district website under the Students and Families tab. This page includes written guides and short tutorials to walk you through downloading and using the app. Visit the page here: Nauset App Help Page

Updates From The Principal
Hello NRMS Families,
Thank you to all of the parents and guardians that participated in conferences this week. Thank you also to the PTO for providing dinner for our teachers on Wednesday evening. We are so appreciative of the support and partnerships in place between school and home. We had a fun end of the week with Halloween tricks and treats. Our science teachers amazed students with some spooky experiments. The costumes worn by students and staff were so fun.
Next Thursday is the start of the second quarter. Students will have a new exploratory course in their schedule. All of the year long courses are on trimesters. The first trimester ends at the Thanksgiving break, which is just four weeks away.
This weekend we change the clocks back one hour for the end of daylight savings time. Enjoy that extra hour of sleep.
Enjoy the weekend.
Peter Cohen, Ed.D.
