Dear Families,

As we enter November, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for your continued partnership and support. This time of year reminds us how important community, kindness, and connection are—and we are so thankful for each of you who help make Winchester Avenue Elementary such a wonderful place to learn and grow.

Our students have made great strides this fall, and their curiosity, hard work, and enthusiasm continue to inspire us each day. Thank you for encouraging their learning at home and for being active participants in their success.

We have several exciting events this month, including Picture Day make ups on November 6th, Parent Teacher Conferences also on November 6th, and our Veterans Day Breakfast on November 10th at 9:30 a.m.—a special opportunity to honor the heroes within our school community. We hope you’ll join us as we celebrate and show our gratitude.

Wishing you and your family a November filled with warmth, reflection, and joy.

With appreciation,
Charity Ballard

Principal
Winchester Avenue Elementary School

Thank you Thank you

WALKERS WALKERS

We understand that older siblings may need to walk our kiddos home. Please be sure your child's teacher is aware of this arrangement. We have a new form to be completed by parents/guardians of students that are walked home by siblings that are under 18 years of age. Once the teacher is made aware, we will send home the form.
