Dear journalism family,

Happy Monday! This is a big week for IHSPA deadlines as submissions for the Rowena Harvey Competition and yearbook Hoosier Star feedback service are due! I will accept entries all the way up to the weekend, which is a slight extension from the original date. Don't forget that the IHSPA Executive Board reduced the Harvey entry fee to just $2.50! Email IHSPA@franklincollege.edu with any questions or concerns.

PS — PLEASE check the spreadsheet on this page to ensure your membership is current. Schools not listed need to complete this form for 2026-2027.

According to the Indiana Department of Education, the following courses may be counted as an ELA, communications, or elective credit toward the new diploma. Please reference the DOE’s companion document for further information.
