Greetings Main Street Families,
We have several exciting events and important reminders to share!
Our PTO meeting has been rescheduled to Tuesday, October 27, at 4:30 p.m. to accommodate the After-School Program Showcase on October 22. We hope you’ll join us to share ideas and help plan meaningful experiences for our scholars!
Wednesday, October 21, is a half day and our first House Meeting Day! Please ensure your scholar comes to school wearing their house shirt, ready to connect with their house and show their Main Street pride.
On Friday, October 23, scholars may dress down in pink for $1 to raise money for breast cancer research. We will also hold our annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk at 1:30 p.m. Families are encouraged to join us as we walk together in support of this important cause!
Our annual Keep the Cold Away Coat Drive will take place on Tuesday, October 27. Please be on the lookout for the permission slip if you would like your child to receive a new coat. If you have not received it by Monday, please let your child’s teacher know, and we will send another copy.
Finally, we kindly ask that all squishies stay at home to help keep our scholars safe and encourage respectful interactions. If a scholar brings a squishy to school, staff will confiscate it for the day and return it to the scholar at the end of the day. Thank you for reviewing this expectation with your child.
