Hello Hyatt Families,

As we head into Spring Break, we want to wish you and your family a relaxing and enjoyable time together! We hope you all get the chance to recharge, as the final two months of the school year will be packed with exciting and engaging opportunities. From field trips to the art show and music performances, to state testing and end-of-year activities, there’s so much to look forward to!

We’re also gearing up for some exciting construction projects that will begin over Spring Break and really kick into gear after our last day on June 6th. These improvements will help make our school even better for our students, and we can’t wait to see them come to life.

Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership. Together, we are creating an amazing learning experience for all our children, and we couldn’t do it without you!

Wishing you a wonderful break and looking forward to finishing the year strong!

A Word from Officer Williams

Parking Lot Safety Reminder

As we prioritize the safety of our students, we ask for your help in keeping our parking lot safe and efficient. Here's how you can help:

  • Children must stay seated in the vehicle during arrival and ensure their body is fully inside (no hanging out windows or sunroofs).
  • Pull up as far as possible when dropping off or picking up to allow staff to assist more children and improve efficiency.
    • This helps reduce traffic backup on Linden Rd and ensures safety.

Please remember:

  • Remain in line and wait until it’s safe to exit.
  • Our staff is guiding children, but please be aware that kids may act unpredictably.
  • Your patience and attention are essential to avoid any hazards.

Thank you for helping us create a safe and efficient drop-off and pick-up experience for everyone!

Reading Month Construction is a Wrap!

Big thanks to the entire community for helping us build a successful Reading Month! Your support really nailed it, and we couldn’t have framed such a great event without you. A special shoutout to the Masons for laying the foundation with their generous donation of prizes and bikes for the kids—your contributions truly bricked up our efforts and made this month extra special. You've helped raise the structure of literacy and fun, and we can't hammer enough how much we appreciate it!

Box City

Second-grade students are excited and engaged as they explore the concept of community and work on designing their very own cities. Through a hands-on, creative approach, they are learning how different parts of a community come together to support its residents. Students are working on understanding the roles of various buildings, transportation systems, and services in a city. Local government officials will visit to help facilitate and guide their learning as they construct their own city. The big reveal will take place on April 29th!

Elementary Music Performances

We are excited to announce that this spring's musical performances are just around the corner! All performances will be held in the high school auditorium, offering the best in acoustics and seating to ensure a top-notch experience for both performers and audience members. We can't wait to showcase the talent of our students in such a fantastic venue, and we look forward to sharing these memorable moments with our community. Please be sure to join us for an unforgettable spring of music!

SOAR Expectations

We are continuing to SOAR at Hyatt as part of our district mission to support a positive culture in our schools! Our goal is to teach desirable behaviors that will serve our children well everywhere in our community and beyond! Throughout their day we focus on Staying Safe, Offering Kindness, Acting Responsibly, and showing Respect. The children are recognized individually with SOAR tickets and weekly through grade level drawings with donated prizes from our supportive P.A.L.S group, McDonalds, and Mancinos. This is a community commitment and something we are proud to support.
