Congratulations to the students who participated in last week's Time to Climb! Prizes are on the way.

Though Grammarly has been an approved application/extension in the past, it will be disabled for students moving forward. Grammarly now includes an AI component in their extension that cannot be disabled, which is not allowed due to our updated AI limits for students.

For alternatives, students can use Google Docs to check for spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors. Students in grades 3-12 can use Paper for essay writing review and tutoring in writing.

As of Friday, December 12th, apps and websites that are categorized by our filter as "AI" or "Artificial Intelligence", such as ChatGPT, Copilot, and Gemini, are blocked through students' PUSD managed devices or when students are signed in with their PUSD account. Educational apps and websites that utilize AI, but the sole purpose of the site is instruction or education, will remain accessible. Please reach out to EdTech with any questions.

Please remember to completely shut down your Chromebook at the end of every day! This will ensure your device has received all necessary updates and that you are able to connect to all PUSD applications without issue.

As a reminder, when there are issues at your site, the best way to get help quickly is through a Help Desk call (626-396-3699) or ticket (gopusd.com/helpdesk). Not following this process can result in a delay in resolving your issue.
