* Report cards for the second trimester were sent home yesterday. As always, please reach out to your child's teacher, if you have any questions or concerns.

* As a Fun Friday treat we will order Dominoes Pizza for lunch next Friday, March 22nd for the whole school. We will not be serving our regular lunch on that day.

* Mr. Jon Friedman, our school adjustment counselor, will be hosting a parent workshop on March 26th. This workshop will focus on helping families support their children who experience anxiety. Please take a look at the link below for more information and to sign up.

* Aftercare Program Update: At the beginning of a new trimester we normally open up registrations for the Aftercare program. At this time the program is at capacity, so unfortunately we are unable to accept new registrations for the third trimester.

Planning Ahead:

* Save your change! The Penny-A-Thon will take place the week of April 1st - 5th. This is an important fundraiser for our PTG. More information will be sent home soon.

PTG Updates & Reminders:

* The PTG will host the Easter Egg Hunt on Friday, March 29th, during the school day. They are looking for volunteers to help stuff eggs and to help with the hunt. Please follow the Sign Up Genius link below, if you are interested in helping out. Thank you for your consideration.

Health & Safety:

* The transition lockdown drill that was scheduled for this past Tuesday has been rescheduled to next Tuesday. Trooper Shannon, our state trooper liaison, will lead us through this low key, simple, but important drill. It is yet another way that we work to keep our students and staff safe. If you ever have any questions about the safety drills that we conduct here at Emma Miller, please reach out to me at any time.

Have a great weekend,

Mrs. Tierney
