NJSIAA March Madness Public Service Announcement
March Madness is upon us, and sometimes you just desperately want to sneak a peek at your phone and see the latest scores or your bracket. NHTSA and the New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety (DHTS) wish to remind you that it can wait; put down the phone and just drive! In 2020 alone, 3,142 people died in distracted-driving related crashes. According to NHTSA, other distracting activities for drivers include:
• Talking on their phone or to others in their vehicle.
• Texting or streaming on their phone.
• Eating and drinking.
• Fiddling with the radio, entertainment, or navigation system.
Even the most sports-fanatic parent needs to remember that your kids are always watching, and if they see you being reckless, they might do the same when they get behind the wheel. Remember that the only sure pick during March Madness is safe driving.
Brick Township High School has won the Army Fitness Challenge and is branded as the Fittest School in the Mid-Atlantic Area!
Unified Sports athletes and partners joined PALS club on 2/21 for physical fitness fun.
BTHS Unified Sports was also represented at Brick and Beyond on 2/15/23 :)
BRICK AFJROTC

Key Clubbers are getting prepared for our 2nd WWES Easter Egg Hunt. We have 720 eggs to fill! Students can also earn service hours by making Saint Patrick's Day or Easter Cards for members of our Senior Citizen Community. We collected food at the Battle of the Classes that will be donated to the Saint Dominic's Food Pantry.
The Pazmino Club Updates!
SOAPS - will be hosting our "Silhouette Singer" fundraiser sometime during late March. It is a spin-off of the popular show the Masked Singer where BTHS faculty and staff are singing on stage with a clear curtain in front of them to create their silhouette. Audience members will then be chosen to guess the singer.
The Regaler staff is busy at work preparing this year's edition of the BTHS literary magazine, showcasing Dragon art work, creative writing, and photography. Our theme this year is the 1980s! So hold onto your leg warmers and stay tuned for its release in late May.
